This recipe is fun, festive and simple for kids to follow. It's the perfect treat to bring to any BBQ or pool party, just beware of the sugar high!

- 30 marshmallows
- Red sugar sprinkles
- Blue sugar sprinkles
- Granulated sugar
- Shortening or butter
1. Using 4 bowls, place red sprinkles in one, blue sprinkles in another, granulated sugar in a third and in the fourth bowl add some water.
2. Using a toothpick, pick up a marshmallow, dip in water and then dip in bowl of red sprinkles, turning to fully coat. Remove marshmallow from toothpick and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat with 9 more marshmallows using the red sprinkles. Then, repeat with 10 more marshmallows using the blue sprinkles and 10 more using the granulated sugar.
3. Take your festive straws and lightly coat one end with shortening or butter. Gently thread 3 marshmallows onto each stick (one red, one white and one blue).
