I have such great memories of having various versions of this hot dog as kid! To me, it just screams game day.

Technique tip: Level up your hot dog game by loading your condiments into squeeze bottles, very professional.

Ingredients

  • 4 hot dogs
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 4 teaspoons bonito flakes
  • 8 teaspoons everything spice mix, divided

Preparation

1.

Fire up the grill to medium heat and start grilling the dogs.

2.

In a small bowl, whip the cream cheese with about a tablespoon of water, so it's thin enough to drizzle (or squeeze from a squeeze bottle).

3.

Flip the dogs and place your buns on the grill for a quick toast.

4.

Remove the dogs and buns from the grill and place dogs in buns.

5.

Drizzle or squeeze the cream cheese over each dog (like you would mustard).

6.

Top each dog with a teaspoon of bonito flakes and 2 teaspoons of everything spice.
