Seared Lamb Chops

4 servings


  • 2 rack australian or american lamb
  • 2 ounce vegetable oil


Baking Directions:

Trim excess fat from lamb racks.

Cut racks in between each bone to result in individual chops.

Season each chop with kosher salt and black pepper.

Place a sauté pan over high heat for 1 minute.

Add vegetable oil and wait until oil just begins to lightly smoke.

Add your chops one at a time and begin searing the chops in the hot oil.

Cook chops for 1.5 minutes on each side.

Remove chops and serve with you favorite side dishes.

Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint
