Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon egg
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon tarragon
- 2 tablespoon green onion
- 2 clove garlic
- 5 drop tabasco
- 1/2 cup shrimp
- 1/2 cup bay scallops
- 1/2 cup crabmeat
- 1 quart vegetable oil
Preparation
Baking Directions:
In a 3-quart deep saucepan, heat oil to 350 degrees.
In a medium mixing bowl, add rest of ingredients and combine to form a stiff batter.
Chill 30 minutes.
Using a teaspoon or 1/2 oz.
scoop, drop into hot fat, cooking 4 minutes, turning once until golden brown.
Drain on paper towels and serve.
