Roasted acorn squash

Ingredients

  • 2 acorn squash
  • 2 tablespoon diced butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation

Baking Directions:

Cut squash in half and remove the seeds.

Cut into sections following the lines of the squash.

Toss sections with brown sugar, butter, olive oil, spices and salt.

Bake in 450-degree oven for 15-20 minutes.
