- 2 chickens
- 6 lemons
- 1 bunch fresh sage, chopped
- 2 tablespoon butter
Mix lemon wedges and some of the sage, salt and pepper.
Place the seasoning under the skin of the chickens.
Melt butter and rub outside and inside the chicken.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper and the rest of the sage.
Preheat oven to 350 oven and cook for about 50-60 minutes until golden brown.
Note: You can stuff chickens the day before and let them sit overnight in the refrigerator to marinate and enhance the flavor before roasting the chicken.
