  • Preparation

    Serving Directions:

    1.

In a bowl, soak white bread in the milk.

In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef, bread and milk, onions, parsley, eggs, cheese, and garlic.

Add salt and pepper to taste.

If the mixture is dry, add ½ cup of cold water and mix well.

Form the mixture into about 12 meatballs.

    2. Place the meatballs and the olive oil in a large skillet and fry over medium to high heat until brown, about 10 to 15 minutes, turning them regularly.

Dry the meatballs on paper towels.

For The Marinara Sauce:1. Heat olive oil in medium size saucepan over medium heat.

Add onions and garlic and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.

    2. Add tomatoes and basil, simmer until thickened, about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    3. Add the meatballs to the tomato sauce and simmer for 15 minutes then add the spaghetti and toss.

To Assemble Wrap:1. Cut 2 meatballs in quarters, place on wrap.

    2.

Add 3 tablespoons of marinara sauce over the meatballs.

    3. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.

    4. Wrap and enjoy.
