- 6 sesame buns
- Leftover marinara sauce, warmed
- Leftover meatballs, warmed
- 18 ounces fresh ricotta cheese
- 12 ounces grated parmesan cheese
- 6 whole fresh basil leaves, for garnish
- Extra virgin olive oil, for drizzling
Cut the sesame buns in half. Add warm tomato sauce and 2 meatballs to each sandwich. Top with 3 ounces fresh ricotta and 1½-2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese. Garnish with basil leaves, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and serve.
