Ingredients

  • 1 easy pizza dough (see below)
  • 3 tablespoon homemade marinara sauce
  • 4 slice dry mozzarella
  • 4 slice leaves fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 slice thin slices prosciutto
  • 1/2 cup chopped arugula
  • 1/2 cup Freshly ground black pepper
  • Easy Pizza Dough
  • 1 easy pizza dough (see below)
  • 3 tablespoon homemade marinara sauce
  • 4 slice dry mozzarella
  • 4 slice leaves fresh basil, chopped
  • 2 slice thin slices prosciutto
  • 1/2 cup chopped arugula
  • 1/2 cup Freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup warm water, 95 – 115 degrees
  • 2 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 2 teaspoon honey
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 1/2 cup all-purpose or multi-grain flour
  • 3 1/2 pinch Kosher salt
  • Preparation

    Baking Directions:

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees with pizza stone in oven.Prepare the pizza dough according to the recipe (below). Divide the dough into fourths. Roll out one of the pieces to 8 or 9 inches in diameter. Place the dough on a lightly floured pizza peel or baking sheet with no sides and top with the sauce, cheese and basil. Slide the unbaked pizza onto the hot stone and bake until the crust is brown and bubbly, about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and top with proscuitto, arugula and pepper. Slice and serve immediately.  To make the doughIn a food processor, combine the warm water, yeast, honey and olive oil and mix well. Process until the yeast dissolves and mixture is bubbly.Add the flour and pulse. Add a pinch of salt and pulse again. Run the food processor until the dough makes a ball.Remove and place on a lightly floured surface and knead for 2 minutes.Place in a lightly greased bowl, cover well and refrigerate overnight.Remove the dough from refrigerator and divide into 4 pieces. Roll into 4 small pizzas.

    Tips:

    Note: The remaining dough can be individually wrapped tightly in plastic wrap and stored in the refrigerator or freezer for future use.
