This is my take on the espresso martini. Grappa sometimes gets a bad rap for being harsh tasting, but it can be amazing if it comes from a high-end source. Moscato Grappa is a great place to start, especially in this caffeinated cocktail.
- 1¼ ounces Grappa Moscato Nonino
- 1/2 ounce amaretto liqueur, preferably Disaronno
- 3¾ ounces very strong coffee, chilled (or a long espresso if you have an espresso machine)
Put all the ingredients in a shaker full of ice, shake vigorously and serve in a cold tulip shaped glass or wine glass.
