Light beer-steamed mussels with ginger, garlic and jalapeno

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pound mussels
  • 1 pound red onion, chopped
  • 8 pound garlic cloves, diced
  • 4 tablespoon ginger, diced
  • 1 tablespoon jalapeno
  • 1 tablespoon red bell pepper, diced
  • 4 tablespoon tomatoes, diced
  • 1 bunch fresh thyme
  • 7 ounce butter
  • 1 fluid ounce light beer
  • Preparation

    Baking Directions:

    Start by dicing the ginger, red onion, jalapeno, sweet red bell pepper and tomatoes.

    Put all the ingredients on top of the mussels in a large bowl and then add the thyme.

    Mix well together and put in a large pot.

    Next you add the butter and then pour in the light beer and the cream.

    Steam for three to five minutes.
