Ingredients
- 1 cup lemon juice (from about 4 lemons)
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
- 2 lemons, zested
- 15 chicken wings
Chef notes
Zesty lemon and fresh black pepper add bite to these crispy grilled chicken wings. This citrusy marinade is a great way to change up your usual wing game.
Preparation
1.Combine lemon juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, granulated garlic and lemon zest in a large bowl and add chicken wings. Toss to coat, then refrigerate overnight.
2.Light one side of your grill to medium-high heat (between 350°F-400°F) and leave one side of the grill "cold".
3.Start the chicken wings on the cold side of the grill, with the lid closed. Grill for 20 minutes, turning once.
4.Finish the wings on the hot side of the grill over a medium-high flame for another 10 minutes, turning every few minutes to make sure they evenly crisp and brown.
