Chef notes
Gin & tonics are a classic because the combo allows the botanicals of a great gin to ring through. By subbing juniper tea for gin, you still have juniper and botanicals on full display in this drink without adding any alcohol.
Ingredients
- 5 ounces juniper tea, brewed and chilled
- 5 ounces chilled tonic water
- Large ice cubes
- 1 sprig fresh rosemary, for garnish
- Mandarin orange, clementine or tangerine wheels, for garnish
Preparation
In a large round red wine glass, pour tea and tonic water over large ice cubes. Garnish with rosemary sprig and citrus.
