This citrus-y spin on a classic hot toddy calls for Limoncello along with lemons infused with ginger and honey. To make it extra fun, serve the drink in mason jars.
- 20 slices lemon
- 4 star anise
- 1.2 cup honey
- 4 small pieces peeled ginger
- 4 ounces Limoncello
- 1 quart hot water, let steam for 1 minute
Add lemons, anise, honey, ginger and water to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer let step for 3 minutes. Add Limoncello to a four large mugs or clear coffee cups. Add hot water and stir lemon, honey and ginger into mugs. Garnish saucers with star anise.
