Forget those easy mixes. Making this drink from scratch is just as simple. And the taste is heavenly. 

Ingredients

  • 1 quart milk
  • 1/2 cup finely grated or chopped bittersweet chocolate, at least 60%
  • 1/2 cup finely grated or chopped Mexican chocolate
  • 4 large marshmallows for serving

Preparation

Add all ingredients to a 2 quart saucepan.  Heat over medium and whisk until chocolate has completely melted. 

Divide between 4 mugs, top each with a marshmallow and serve hot.
