Hoda's Ricotta Ice Cream

This is my lighter alternative to ice cream I've been making with Hope to accomodate her recent dietary changes. The ricotta provides the creamy texture, while the sugar-free maple syrup lightly sweetens it up. Add sprinkles or your favorite topping before serving.

Swap option: Freeze mixture in ice pop molds!


  • 2 cups whole-milk ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar-free maple syrup, plus more to taste
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 2-3 cups ice, depending on desired consistency


Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high speed until creamy and well-combined, about 1 minute.

Add maple syrup to your desired sweetness. If you prefer a thicker ice cream, add more ice and blend until thickened.
