Chef notes

Putting aside the fact that this recipe takes only five minutes to prep (and yes, ok, four hours to freeze), the most incredible thing about these popsicles is the adorable, Instagram-worthy final product. My kids have so much fun making them, and the candy/beverage combos are endless! For grownups, I highly recommend soaking your gummies in an adult beverage, such as vodka, for a day or two before assembling.

Technique tip: To remove the ice pops once they're fully frozen, simply run the molds under lukewarm water.

Swap option: You can try this recipe with a variety of different gummy candies.

Special equipment: Ice pop molds (if you do not own ice pop molds, you could use small paper cups and ice pop sticks. Simply let the pops freeze halfway before inserting the sticks so they stay in place.)

Ingredients

  • Water, lemonade or lemon-lime soda
  • Gummy bears

Preparation

1.

Fill each mold with a variety of gummy bears.

2.

Pour in your desired liquid to right below the top. Cover your molds and add sticks.

3.

Freeze for roughly 4 hours, until fully frozen.
