This Grasshopper Dessert Cocktail is Leon Oyster Shop's take on a classic cocktail. It is believed to have been created at Tujague's, a bar in the French Quarter of New Orleans, in 1918. Since Charleston gets pretty hot, the restaurant created a refreshing milkshake to cool things down.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon Crème de Cacao
- 3 tablespoons Crème de Menthe
- 3/4 cup soft serve ice cream
Preparation
1.Blend the liqueurs with soft serve ice cream in a milkshake mixer or blender until smooth.
2.Serve in a tulip glass and garnish with chocolate jimmies.
