Champagne is the quintessential celebratory drink. For this cocktail, I wanted to put together something based around sparkling wine that uses ingredients that many people will have around the house but still feels like a celebratory treat.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 3/4 ounce Aperol
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 ounces Champagne

Preparation

Add the juice, Aperol and salt to shaker tin and shake vigorously with one ice cube until it's melted.

Pour into wine glass filled with ice and top with Champagne.
