I’m always looking for healthy snacks for Calvin. It’s so easy to get into a processed-food rut with grab-an- go snacks. This involves three easy ingredients, two of which are healthy, and the chocolate chips make it exciting for Calvin — he thinks he’s getting a special “sweet” snack!

Ingredients

    • 2 bananas, mashed
    • 1¾ cup quick-cooking oats
    • 1 cup chocolate chips

Preparation

1. In a bowl, combine the mashed bananas, oats and chocolate chips. Stir well to combine, cover and chill in the fridge for 15 minutes.

2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place onto the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
