Preheat oven to 375°F.2.
Butter bread, then scatter the tomato on top of the bread. Next, cover the tomatoes with the sliced comté.3.
Toast the open-face sandwich and second slice of bread in the oven for 5-7 minutes.4.
Remove from the oven and serve with a handful of fresh salad mix. Finish with salt, black pepper and good olive oil, and top with the second slice of bread.
