This recipe requires very little seasoning. The purpose is to taste the freshness of the ingredients. It's very simple, super tasty and a light snack that the entire family will enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound peeled, deveined and cooked medium shrimp, roughly chopped
  • 3 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 2 large cucumbers, diced

  • 1/4 cup minced cilantro
  • 1/4 cup minced parsley
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Tortilla chips, for serving

Preparation

Add the shrimp, tomatoes, onion, cucumber, garlic, cilantro, parsley, lime juice, hot sauce, salt and pepper to a large glass bowl and toss to combine. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until the flavors combine, at least 1 hour or overnight.
