Elizabeth Heiskell shares an easy recipe for a cheesy dip that that is sure to make you the winner on game day.

Equipment needed: Sauce pan, skillet, serving bowl

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pasteurized cheese (like Velveeta)
  • 2 10-ounce cans diced tomatoes with chilies and their juices
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 package taco meat seasoning
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • ½ cup black beans
  • ½ cup pico de gallo
  • ½ cup cilantro

Preparation

Combine pasteurized cheese and tomatoes in sauce pan and heat through until melted. Stir often. 

Brown ground beef in skillet and drain. Then add taco seasoning as directed on package.

Pour cheese mixture into serving bowl. Pile seasoned beef in middle of cheese mixture as to make an island.

The top beef with the following ingredients in this order: Black beans, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, and fresh cilantro. Serve with chips.
