Cheddar biscuits

Ingredients

  • 3 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 3 ounce butter (cut into small cubes)
  • 3 ounce grated cheddar cheese

Preparation

Baking Directions:

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees.

Mix all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl.

Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until everything is fully incorporated and there are no dry spots.

Add the butter and cheese and mix together until they are evenly incorporated into the dough.

The dough should be sticky.

Use a couple of spoons and place 1 1/2 ounces of the dough into a greased muffin pan(s).

Bake in batches at 325 degrees for 15 minutes.

Optional: Brush with melted butter after baking.
