Big Batch Green Tea, Vodka and Pear Punch

Big-batch cocktail recipe: Green tea and pear punch

  • 6 Orange Passion fruit Green Tea bags
  • 6 cups boiling water
  • 3 cups vodka
  • ¾ cup simple syrup
  • 1 cup lemon juice
  • 2 cups store-bought pear puree, chilled
  • 2 oranges, peeled for thick pieces of skin, no pith, discard fruit
  • 2 thinly-sliced green pears, seeded, skin on, reserve 12 slices for garnish

With one warm breeze, everyone is ready to share a sip with friends. So this week’s happy hour is a big batch drink. Green tea has all sorts of health benefits, but it's also a star at the bar. This refreshing take on traditional iced tea is perfect for any get together. Grab your pitcher and brew some tea and enjoy this nicely chilled tea-infused toast to your weekend. 

Note: Any green tea works in this recipe, but I like the aromas the orange and passion fruit lend to this tea.


Steep the tea bags in the boiled water for two to three minutes. Allow the tea to cool.

In a large pitcher, add tea, vodka, simple syrup, lemon juice and pear puree; stir to combine.

Serve the cocktail in ice cube-filled glasses and garnish with a pear slice and orange twist.
