Banana Blueberry Smoothies

Smoothies are my favorite way to start the day and in the time of quarantine, frozen fruit is our jam! It's picked at the height of ripeness and won't go bad. So get crazy, make different colored smoothies every day and start the day on a colorful note.

Technique Tip: There is no cooking needed, just make sure to really blend it up so there are no random chunks.

 

Swap Option: Make it your own. Any kind of fruit works, use different kinds of milk or add hemp, chia or flax seeds.

Ingredients

    • 1 banana, peeled
    • 1 cup frozen blueberries
    • 1 cup almond milk
    • 1 tablespoon almond butter
    • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
    • 1 teaspoon hemp seeds
    • 1 teaspoon flax seeds

Preparation

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until totally smooth. Serve immediately and enjoy.
