The combination and aroma of hibiscus-scented coffee and cinnamon-orange syrup bring comfort and coziness to the day. It's exciting on the palate, and each sip brings a new sensation of flavors and scents.
Technique tip: Keep all liquids warm/hot.
Swap option: Use coconut water in place of water in the syrup for a richer mouthfeel.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 orange, zested
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 ounce cinnamon orange simple syrup (recipe above)
- 3 ounces warm hibiscus tea
- 6 ounces brewed coffee
- 1 dehydrated orange wheel, for garnish
Preparation
For the cinnamon-orange syrup:
Add equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan. Add in zest of an entire orange and 1 cinnamon stick.
For the drink:
1.Build drink in a clear coffee mug. Add cinnamon orange simple syrup, warm tea and hot coffee.
2.Give it a stir and serve hot.
3.Garnish with a dehydrated orange wheel.
