Ingredients
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
- 1 gallon apple cider
- 2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cup salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1/2 pound Wisconsin Aged Cheddar
Preparation
Baking Directions:
Ice cream machine directionsCombine all ingredients except Aged Cheddar and pour into ice cream machine.
Process according to machine directions.
Transfer into a chilled container and fold in 1/2 pound (1 cup) Aged Cheddar.
Store in the freezer.
Freezer directions Combine all ingredients except Aged Cheddar.
Pour into a shallow pan, and place pan in freezer.
Stir every 15 minutes until frozen.
Transfer into a chilled container and fold in 1/2 pound (1 cup) Aged Cheddar.
Store in the freezer.
