Ingredients
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 cup cooked and cooled rice
- 1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- 1/3 cup chopped dates
Preparation
Baking Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Lightly grease a 9-inch square baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, add eggs, cream and butter, stirring until combined.
Add sugar, spices, salt and almond extract, stirring until combined.
Stir in rice, almonds, and dates.
Pour mixture into prepared baking dish.
Bake for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
