Making a homemade balsamic reduction is way easier than you may think. It's especially delicious served over this super simple and refreshing watermelon salad.
- 1 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 large triangle slices seedless watermelon
- Feta cheese, crumbled
In a small sauce pan, add the balsamic vinegar and honey. Cook over high heat. Once the mixture begins to boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer until the vinegar mixture has reduced to 1/3 cup, about 10 minutes. Set the balsamic reduction aside to cool.
Plate one piece of watermelon on each plate. Drizzle the watermelon with the balsamic reduction and top with the crumbled feta. Add another light drizzle of balsamic, if desired.
