Fashion is notoriously fickle, and Derek (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson) learn that the hard way in a hilarious new trailer for the much-anticipated sequel "Zoolander 2."
"He was once the world's most famous male model," proclaims a voice-over in the three-minute video, which hit the Web Wednesday after TODAY premiered an exclusive first look. "Even his looks were household names. Le tigre, magnum, and of course, blue steel. But that was a long, long time ago."
Now, sadly, the former catwalk sensations are forced to wear nametags that deem them "old" and "lame" (which Stiller's character naturally pronounces "lamé").
What's more, they're informed by an Interpol agent (Penelope Cruz) that "someone's trying to kill the world's most beautiful people" (cue an appearance from Justin Bieber). But when it's revealed to the high-fashion duo that "all of them died with your signature look" (that would, of course, be blue steel), Derek and Hansel have their work cut out for them — which includes confronting "criminal mastermind" Mugatu (Will Ferrell).
The follow-up to 2001's "Zoolander" hits theaters on Feb. 12, 2016. The movie's premiere date was announced during Paris Fashion Week last March, when its "really, really, ridiculously good looking" stars strutted the Valentino runway in character to create buzz.
