Marco Perego and Zoe Saldana attend The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Hollywood Costume Opening Party in Los Angeles on Wednesday.Frederick M. Brown / Today

Zoe Saldana has finally made it official — she confirmed Wednesday night that she's having twins.

No, the gorgeous mom-to-be, 36, and her equally-as-hot artist husband Marco Perego, 36, didn't make a big announcement. Instead, Saldana did it in the cutest way ever when we talked about her Halloween plans at the opening of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Hollywood Costume exhibit in L.A.

When asked if she'd be dressing up for Halloween this year, Saldana looked down, rubbed her belly a little bit and said, "I might. I might need three costumes. I might have to make some adjustments, but it would be nice."

Saldana did joke that she may go as a bride!

"It would be a shotgun wedding," she laughed.

E! News was the first to report that the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star was expecting two bundles of joy. "She's thrilled," an insider told us in July.

Saldana has always talked about her desire to start a family. "I'm Latin — we start young, honey!" Saldana admitted on the Lifetime series "The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet" in April 2012. "At 22 you're like, 'I just wanna hold something!' You want a little critter."

Saldana said she hopes to have at least "two or three" kids. "Or four or five! I don't care. They're just so delicious," she said. "I love the anxiety, the pressure of the loud room full of yapping kids. But I'm a kid myself. I get along very well with animals and children. I dig them. I get them. They make perfect sense to me. A child speaks more sense than an adult half of the time."

Saldana and Perego were secretly married in the summer of 2013.

Saldana looked ridiculously beautiful Wednesday night in a cotton candy pink Dior dress.

Her stylist recommended she wear some color instead of the black she's been wearing a lot of lately.

"It's very comfy," Saldana said. "And it's Dior. It's cute."

Also at the opening of the Swarovski-sponsored exhibit were Diane Kruger, Joshua Jackson, Michelle Monaghan, "Bridesmaids" director Paul Feig, Rose McGowan and "Mad Men's" Kiernan Shipka.
