Yolanda Foster: 'Beverly Hills' housewife Brandi Glanville should 'just zip it'

She may be the newest member of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," but that won't keep Yolanda Foster down -- she filmed the show while also battling Lyme disease, and on her first day out of the house, dropped by TODAY to chat with Hoda Kotb and Kathie Lee Gifford.

"While I was shooting the show I was really, really sick," she explained, sitting next to her Real Husband of Beverly Hills, Grammy-winning songwriter-producer David Foster. "As I watch myself (on the show) I'm like, 'Ok, girl, get to the point!' Because I had such tremendous brain fog."

Still, in her role as the show's "voice of reason," she had to deal with the mysterious brain workings of her fellow castmates, most of whom seemed to always have a problem with someone. Take Brandi Glanville's repeated comments about LeAnn Rimes, who is now married to Brandi's ex, Eddie Cibrian. "I think that Brandi would be a lot more powerful if she would just zip it and just walk her walk," said Yolanda. "(But) people tune in because they love to see that (sort of behavior)."

Despite the drama, David said he could never have told his wife they couldn't make the show, as she's using it as a platform to launch herself and her ideas. "Yolanda has a purpose, she has a goal ... it's a great way to get your name out there," he said. "Could you imagine (me) saying, 'No, you can't'?"

The pair have been together "7 years almost," said Yolanda, and here's one of the goals she wants to reach: "My goal is I want to piss off all of his ex-wives, because I want to be married to him longer than any of them," she grinned.

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
