Snoop is innocent. Or so she says.

Felicia Pearson, the actress who played the drug-dealing assassin in HBO's seminal crime series The Wire, has pleaded not guilty to drug conspiracy charges Tuesday.

And now she's going to trial.

Per the Baltimore Sun, the 30-year-old Pearson turned up in Baltimore Circuit Court to enter her plea but declined to talk to reporters afterward.

Trial was set for Aug. 9.

The actress, currently out on $50,000 bail, was one of 64 people rolled up in a drug sting initiated by the feds and local authorities. The operation, dubbed Usual Suspects, recalled the crime-busting storylines of the cable drama that launched her to fame.

Unfortunately for Pearson, she apparently took her role too seriously as she's charged with conspiring to distribute heroin as part of a drug ring plaguing East Baltimore.

As part of her conditional release, Pearson is required to wear an electronic ankle bracelet so law enforcement can keep tabs on her.

The good news is she can keep on working after she was granted permission by a judge at a previous court hearing to travel out of stage to work on a movie in Philadelphia.
