We've heard from Jodie Foster. And now, for the prosecution, we give you Winona Ryder.

Turns out, long before the telephone became Mel Gibson's public enemy No. 1, he wasn't exactly shy about his less than inclusive beliefs.

While talking to GQ, and apropos of nothing really at all, Ryder let loose with this gem of an anecdote from her and Gibson's shared past.

"I remember, like, 15 years ago, I was at one of those big Hollywood parties," she said. "And he was really drunk."

Shocked yet? Nah, didn't think so.

"I was with my friend, who's gay. [Gibson] made a really horrible gay joke. And somehow it came up that I was Jewish. He said something about 'oven dodgers,' but I didn't get it. I'd never heard that before. It was just this weird, weird moment."

Well, "weird" is certainly one word for it.

"I was like, 'He's anti-Semitic and he's homophobic,' " Ryder said. "No one believed me!"

Something tells us that's no longer a problem.
