Kate Middleton's to-do list: (1) marry the future king of England (2) scold brother James over those naughty pics (3) go grocery shopping.

Grocery shopping? With commoners? Huh?

That's right, just a week after their oh-so-extravagant nuptials, Prince William is back to work saving lives and his lady hit Waitrose (the equvalent of a Food Emporium in the states), pushing a shopping cart through the aisles and doing her own shopping.

The only thing that stood out was her great big bodyguard.

Middleton drove herself to the local Waitrose in Anglesey, where the couple have a home in the remote country, and happily shopped for the duo. She was dressed casually in ballet flats, black skinny jeans and a white V-neck top covered with a green shrug. Her makeup was light and she was wearing the same earrings that can be seen in their pre-wedding MarioTestino portrait. Kate was wearing her long locks down and had an elastic band wrapped around her wrist in case she wanted a ponytail.

According to the Daily Mail, Middleton even loaded her grocery bags into the trunk of her Audi A3, and was "all smiles" as she greeted locals in the store.

The only clues to her new life as Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, was the fact that she had three police bodyguards and a back up car tailing her.

Well, that and the rings--as she pushed her cart through the parking lot to her car, her blingtastic engagement ring and plain gold wedding band were both on display.

Meanwhile, her hubby's four-man helicopter crew has participated in two rescue operations since he's been back to work, the British military said yesterday. William was aboard a RAF Sea King helicopter that airlifted a 70-year-old man who had a heart attack from a mountain in Wales' Snowdonia National Park to a hospital on Wednesday, then rescued four off-duty policemen who were hiking after one experienced vertigo on the group's way down from a Welsh mountain.

The couple jumped into their newlywed groove after skipping an immediate honeymoon. However, they do plan on touring Canada and hitting California in July.
