Those who tuned in to Anne Hathaway's Nov. 20 hosting stint on "Saturday Night Live" probably recall Hathaway's impersonation of Katie Holmes. That performance is what is reportedly prompting Holmes and her husband Tom Cruise to "boycott" the Oscars when Hathaway co-hosts this February (with actor James Franco).

According to a source who spoke to U.K. publication The Daily Mail, Holmes and Cruise were kind to Hathaway after her split from Raffaello Follieri and the "SNL" sketch was therefore disappointing. "Katie feels they were really supportive at a difficult time so she feels let down that Anne took to national TV to make fun of her," the source told the paper.

According to Holmes' rep, the entire story "is garbage," however, and there are no hard feelings whatsoever.

For what it's worth, Hathaway clarified her "SNL" performance after the fact, telling Access Hollywood, "I was a teenager when 'Dawson's Creek' was airing, and I was a pretty avid fan, so it just sort of came from that. It wasn't really Katie Holmes; it was more [her 'Creek' character] Joey Potter."
