When Miley Cyrus stopped by TODAY Monday morning, she told Matt she believes she has to express her sexuality before she hits 40, because she thinks it's all downhill from there.
"I heard when you turn 40, things start to go a little less sexual," the 20-year-old singer said. "Probably around 40 ... I heard that's when people don't really have sex anymore."
"Do you know how old I am?" Matt asked.
"I'm going to guess 40," she said.
"55!" Matt corrected.
"55," she laughed. "Oh, well then, you're really, definitely not sexual."
Her comments made headlines (including the front page of the New York Post) and sparked conversation as to whether there was any truth behind her statements.
Matt jokingly opened Tuesday's show saying, "I'm Matt Lauer and I'm too old to have sex," and Savannah chimed in reminding viewers that everyone sitting at the desk had passed Cyrus' sexual cut-off age.
