We don't think of the royal family as seeing movies in the theater like the rest of us peons. Don't they have Hollywood just ship DVDs straight to their castles, to be viewed in elaborate screening rooms with gold-plated popcorn and only a few jillion of their closest friends?

Apparently Prince William and Kate, aka the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, weren't kidding when they said they wanted to live lives as close to normal as possible. The newlyweds whose own wedding was so publicly viewed fittingly saw the hit comedy "Bridesmaids" at a Welsh multiplex this weekend, PEOPLE.com reports.

The theater where the royals saw the film confirmed the trip on Twitter, wondering what the royals made of some of the film's raunchier scenes.

But we're wondering about the more mundane details. Did they buy snacks? What kind? Were bodyguards seated next to them? Did they have to line up (sorry, "queue up") for tickets? If they laughed at a dirty part, did someone immediately tweet that fact to the tabloids?

(Update: Us Magazine fills in the details. They bought drinks and shared a sack of popcorn, and she wore jeans and a cardigan. There ya go.)

Kidding aside, bravo, Wills and Kate. Diana used to take her sons out and make them stand in line at McDonald's. Seems like William picked up some of his mom's regular guy charm, as much as a future king can.
