"I feel great — 50 is not your mother's 50 anymore," she said during a Monday morning visit to TODAY. "It's not just me. It's women like Hoda (Kotb); it's women who've turned 50 years ago … like Demi Moore and Heather Locklear and Vanessa Williams."

They're all redefining 50, an age Williams insists is simply "not old."

"It's just the beginning!" she insisted.
