When it came to his enthusiasm for singing "Livin' on a Prayer" at a private wedding, Jon Bon Jovi was only about halfway there.
Reluctant at first, the New Jersey rocker ultimately gave guests at a Miami wedding a thrill last weekend when he took the stage to sing his 1986 classic, which has become a wedding staple on the dance floor.
It took some convincing by Lourdes Valentin, the lead singer of the wedding band, to get him on stage.
He clearly gives her the fake smile and the "this is embarrassing, please stop asking me to do this right now" face before mouthing, "You got it."
Finally he grabs the mic and delivers a jazzy version of the song that is required by state law to be played at every wedding in New Jersey. Of course, instead of dancing, the guests then whipped out their phones and filmed everything.
Bon Jovi told Valentin before the wedding that he didn't want to sing, according to The Associated Press. She was "very surprised" when he decided to "grace us with his talent."
