The wedding bells are definitely getting louder for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo.
The couple announced in November they were engaged, but no wedding date had been set. However...
That was Ms. Minnillo on Sunday at the Amsale boutique in New York City trying on--you guessed it--wedding dresses!
The bride-to-be had apparently been looking exclusively in Los Angeles, but decided to pop into Amsale after attending a March of Dimes event earlier in the day, according to a source.
Lachey told us in March that the couple hadn't exactly finalized their plans for the big day. "I don't think we feel the pressure to get it done next week, but we're definitely excited about it and we're making headway," he said.
About a month later, he told People magazine, "We're getting dangerously close. That's all I can say."
And guess who else is making headway toward getting hitched? Lachey's ex Jessica Simpson and her fianc, Eric Johnson. "The date, we're like back and forth on, but I think that we've nailed it," Simpson told us last week at Us Weekly's Hot Hollywood party. "It's within the year."
