Too bad it isn't possible to get a standing ovation in a sedan, because Lady Gaga certainly deserved one after her Carpool Karaoke performance.

On Tuesday night's "Late Late Show," Gaga hitched a ride with James Corden and belted out her hits with a passion usually reserved for a concert stage.

Corden accompanied the superstar on powerful renditions "Poker Face," "Million Reasons," "Edge of Glory" and more, and in between songs, he even learned a few fun facts.

For instance:

  • Those "ro mah ro-mah-mah" sounds in the chorus of "Bad Romance" are actually just meant to be parts of the word romance.
  • She owns 400 pieces of Michael Jackson's wardrobe.
  • And although Gaga got her drivers license this summer, she's still a little rough behind the wheel.

The 15-minute ride even featured a Gaga's-greatest-hits fashion show — with Corden slipping on a few of her favorite looks.

He had a clear favorite, too.
