Farrah Fawcett was wiretapped.
Fawcett, TV's newest reality-show star thanks to "Chasing Farrah," recently blurted out something about the FBI and wiretapping, and one well-placed source tells The Scoop that the electronic snooper was none other than Anthony Pellicano, the controversial private eye, whose clients have included Michael Jackson, and who is currently doing time in prison on explosives charges.
“Anthony Pellicano had first worked on a case investigating Farrah Fawcett and then became very friendly with her, so friendly that he tried to take on managing her business and at one point, some people close to him believe that they were having an affair,” cop turned investigative reporter John Connelly tells The Scoop. Connelly is working on a book about Pellicano. “The FBI is currently investigating Pellicano, and I would be shocked if he isn’t indicted for charges of illegal wiretapping and now we know that Farrah was one of his victims.”
“Farrah was wiretapped at one point and the FBI was involved,” her spokeswoman tells the Scoop. “Due to the nature of the tapping we are not at liberty to discuss what it was in regards to or whom it involved. All we can say is that it did happen, and what she is allowed to say about it airs on the show. Regarding your inquiry about Farrah having an affair with Anthony Pellicano, I don’t know anything about that; however we don’t comment on the nature of our clients’ personal lives.”
Drinking and the City
Is Kim Cattrall not putting her mouth where her money is?
The former "Sex and the City" babe recently inked a megabucks deal to become a pitchwoman for Bacardi rum. Only problem is, some are claiming that Cattrall has said she doesn’t like to drink.
“I’m not a big drinker, and when I do, I get a headache,” Cattrall said, according to the new issue of In Touch Weekly.
“She was misquoted,” Cattrall’s rep tells The Scoop. “That was taken out of context.”
But a few years ago, In Style magazine quoted Cattrall as saying, “Playing this outrageous, fearless character [Samantha on “Sex and the City”] has made me more bold with my fashion choices. I don’t drink or take drugs, so it’s my only mood enhancer.”
