Vanessa Bayer's 'Friends' impressions crack up Jimmy Kimmel

The "SNL" vet's Rachel Green is particularly spot-on.

Vanessa Bayer has plenty of go-to impressions on "Saturday Night Live" — Miley Cyrus, anyone? — but her takes on characters from the classic TV sitcom "Friends" gave Jimmy Kimmel a new reason to crack up.

Appearing on Monday night's episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the co-star of the Amy Schumer movie "Trainwreck" envisioned Kimmel at a party attended by the "Friends" characters, whom she suspected were a bit cliquey. Bayer figured Jennifer Aniston's character, Rachel Green, would be curious about the host's friendship with Ross, who'd invited him to this hypothetical event.

"Oh, uh, Jimmy!" intoned Bayer, embellishing Rachel's delivery, posture and blinking patterns. "Uh, how long have you, uh, and Ross been, uh, hanging out? ... Did you know that Ross and I used to, uh, used to date?"

Bayer surmised that Courteney Cox's character, Monica Geller, would interrupt with, "Not now, Rachel!"

After offering a particularly awkward Chandler Bing exchange, the requisite Joey Tribbiani "How you doin'?" greeting, and Phoebe Buffay's quirky assessment of Kimmel's shirt, Bayer reprised her spot-on Rachel: "OK, uh, Jimmy, uh, well we, uh, we had a fun time seeing you, but, uh, you know, it's just the six of us, so, uh, I guess we'll, uh, see you, uh, soon!"

One thing that, more certainly, is happening soon: "Trainwreck" arrives in theaters July 17.
