"I have been a victim to a little bit of fondling by some Twilight cougars," Michael Welch told us yesterday when asked about his craziest Twi-hard fan encounter.
"You may be familiar with a group named the Twilight Moms," Welch says. "I love the Twilight Moms. They've been great, but I'll be honest with you, I have been attacked by a cougar on one or two occasions. They seem to be more forward than most.
"They just go right for the touching and the pinching of the butt and all that stuff and it's just uncomfortable for anyone."
All Twi-joking aside, the 23-year-old actor is getting his do-gooder on by teaming up with The Thirst Project for a new PSA promoting their 5 Buck Club Campaign.
"In two and half years, they've been able to provide clean drinking water to 35,000 people," Welch explains. "It seems like as noble a cause as I was going to find...And providing clean water to those who don't have it just seemed like a really cool thing to be a part of."
