If you thought Terry Crews singing "Thank You for Being a Friend" to Betty White would end up being the only high point of the 2015 TV Land Awards, think again!
The awards show, which was taped earlier in the month and aired on Saturday night, not only wowed with Crews doing his terrific opening tribute, but it also took viewers on a trip backward in TV time by reuniting the casts of classic TV shows "The Wonder Years," "Freaks and Geeks," "Ally McBeal" and "Parenthood."
"I was co-parents with a lot of the moms with the kids," Alley Mills, who played "Wonder Years" mother Norma Arnold, told The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet before the show. "But I’m flabbergasted by how cool they are. They have grown up to be great people."
And it was a treat for any fan to see them all grown up and together again onstage to receive the Impact award.
"Freaks and Geeks" creator Paul Feig (who is now directing the all-female "Ghostbusters" reboot) joked to THR, "Honestly, I don’t get to see these people as much as I would like. ... It’s good because everyone is successful. And no one’s in jail!”
Feig and the cast (sans John Francis Daley and James Franco) accepted an award to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the series finale.
The cast of "Parenthood," which finished its six-season run in January, gathered for the Fan Favorite award.
And the "Ally McBeal" gang stood side-by-side again to take the Groundbreaking honor.
If you missed the night of nostalgia, don't worry! The awards show will air again on April 22 at 6:30 p.m. ET on TV Land.
