A studio rep confirms to us that the film centers on a pair of Viking warrior brothers who attempt to return to Sweden after being banished to North America.
And there's nothing Skars knows better than his homeland--Sweden!
The first-time producer's pop's is well-known actor Stellan Skarsgrd and his boy just loves talking about home as much as possible during interviews. One interviewer remarked he was even nearly glowing when discussing his upbringing.
With playwright Chris Boal set to pen the script, sounds like a perfect project for our favorite vampire-turned-Viking!
Meanwhile, Variety says the flick is "in the vein of Best Picture winners Gladiator and Braveheart."
