Tony Parker was not surprised yesterday when Eva Longoria filed for divorce.
So he says in a statement released by his rep...
"Eva and I have been discussing our situation privately," the hoops star says. "I was aware that she would be filing for divorce in Los Angeles."
Parker insists he never filed first, as was reported yesterday. "I did not file for divorce in Texas and did not hire divorce attorneys in either Texas or California," he says. "We plan to continue to keep our discussion of this matter private."
Meanwhile, Rick Barry, the NBA Hall of Famer whose estranged daughter-in-law Erin is said to be the other woman in Longoria and Parker's breakup, is slamming a report that quotes him as if he knew what was going on.
"I have no idea what happened, and if it's true I feel sorry for my son," Rick tells E! News. "It's my son's life. He can speak for himself."
