Tim McGraw and Faith Hill never fail to make us believe in love, so it's no surprise the longtime couple celebrated their 19th anniversary with a pair of adorable Facebook tributes.

Hill, 48, posted a sweet red-carpet photo of her and her husband at the 2015 Oscars, writing, "Celebrating 19 years today. Happy Anniversary Tim McGraw."

For his part, McGraw, 48, wrote, "Happy anniversary to the best person I will ever know." He also posted a video of himself telling the story of his 1996 proposal to Hill, taken at the Taste of Country Festival in Grand Junction, Colorado, in June.

"We were in the dressing room here, June 26, 1996," he said. "It was rainy and stuff and we'd been on tour for a while together. I'd joked around with her about getting married, and so ... I looked at her, I grabbed her by the hands before I went onstage. She had already done her show. And I said, 'I'm really serious. I want you to marry me.'"

"She laughed and she said, 'We're at a country music festival in a trailer house, and you're asking me to marry you?' And I said, 'Yeah.' So I went onstage."

After McGraw performed, Hill had written her response — "Yes, I'm going to be your wife" — with a Sharpie (along with "lipstick kisses") on a mirror in his dressing room.

Last year, McGraw shared the secret to their lasting relationship in an interview with E! News.

"I think, for us, being as normal as possible and raising our family and being in a family situation as much as possible," he said. "Certainly it's different because of what we both do, but we try to keep it as much of a family environment that we can."
